IMVU made a security change on May 28, 2026 that locks
down outfit information for avatars inside private rooms.
Outfits are no longer visible for anyone currently in a private room.
This isn't just us — the change affects every site and
tool that previously showed outfits from inside private rooms. We can only show what IMVU
itself makes available.
Everything else still works
You can still scan any avatar to see which private rooms they're in, who else is in
the room, the room name, owner, and the list of people inside. Only the outfit
details for each person are gone.

V2 Has Launched Publicly
Important update for Premium members
During the early access period, many of the new V2 tools were opened to all Premium users for testing and exploration.
Now that V2 is fully released to the public, the platform has moved to its finalized plan structure. Some of the newer tools that were previously available during early access are now part of higher pricing tiers.
Nothing has been removed from your account. Everything you could do on V1 is still fully available on V2. The only change is that some newer tools introduced during the early access testing phase are now assigned to their intended plan tiers.
